Oppo f9 comes with stunning designs and comes in the shade of Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry purple. Its highlight is its 6.3-inch display and a small waterdrop notch. It has an MTK P60 processor and contains 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The operating system is ColorOS 5.2 and is based on Android 8.1. The device has a 3500mAh battery which is supported with an ARM Mali-G72 GPU. The dual camera consists of a 16MP primary sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP front camera. F9 is a dual SIM and can support 4G and VoLTE on both SIM slots. It has a face detection feature and a fingerprint sensor.

DESIGN

Oppo F9 is identical to the Oppo F9 Pro when it comes to shape and size. It relatively measures 156.7, the Pro version features a flashy color scheme with different patterns and gradients while the F9 features a diamond-cut pattern that is similar to that of Realme 1.It has three color options: Starry Purple, Twilight Blue, and Sunrise Red. The sections of the device usually pop up when the light hits up the device at different angles.

The device is made out of plastic and its highlight note is its display. The front has a smaller notch as compared to other devices and the water drop design hosts a 16MP selfie camera. The earpiece is uniquely positioned at the top of the notch making the notch appear smaller. The phone’s proximity sensor has been well hidden to the right of the notch and the device ships with a pre-applied screen protector and a case.

The body of this phone tends to bulge outwards slightly to increase its footprint. The back –panel is plastic but gives a glass impression. The power button is positioned at the right, the volume buttons and SIM tray are on the left, while the oval fingerprint scanner is on the rear and easily within reach.

There is a horizontally dual camera that is mounted at the back and an LED flash is et next to it. The camera module is surrounded by metal to keep it safe from scratches. the phone is shipped with custom Color operating system UI that runs on Android 8.1. The device has a customized interface while coming with the Smart Assistant which contains shortcuts, a search bar, weather widget, and a step counter widget. Swiping down to the home screen will provide you with a universal search function that is similar to the Ios. The floating panel on the side also gives you short cuts for some functions and apps.
